A 1989 carved marble polar bear with brass ice skates. Pedestal measures H 32" x W 16" x D16". Artist's signature "Olsen" and date incised above the ice skate on the right foot. Depth 15.5". Gert Olsen is represented by J. Petter Galleries of Douglas, Michigan.
Sculpture shows minimal of wear. There are no observable soiled areas, fractures or scratches to surface to the marble or skates. CP
