Inscribed signature "Brose" on foot. On tripod legs. Freeform with bronze fingers extending. Provenance: Estate of Jack Faxon, Michigan Senator, and creator of the Michigan Council for the Arts. Brose was an instructor of sculpture at institutions including the Detroit Institute of Art, Wayne State University, and Cranbrook Academy of Arts and Crafts.
