Philip and Kelvin LaVerne made this round "Chan" chinoiserie style coffee table in the 1960s. The top is patinated pewter and bronze with hand-painted enamels that display a Chinese landscape that features figures, horses, gates, trees, and architectural structures. The base is octagonal with enamel insets. A raised signature is near the bottom of the image Philip & Kelvin LaVerne. Provenance: The Estate of Dr. James Letson, Saginaw, MI.
