Shipper Pickup and Release

DuMouchelles may not release your items to a shipper or agent representative unless this form is completed. All shippers are required to present a Bill of Lading and release form upon arrival at our gallery. If you are shipping out of the state of Michigan, your shipper must present a Bill of Lading to us. If your shipper does not have a Bill of Lading, and unless you have a valid resale number on file with us, Michigan sales tax will be added to your invoice.

Buyers assume full responsibility for the packing and shipping of lots won at auction. DuMouchelles can help recommend shippers, however, your selection of a shipper, insurance and the cost of shipping is your responsibility. You may select the shipper of your choice. In the interest of our clients, DuMouchelles requires a written authorization from the Buyer in order to release property to anyone other than the purchaser of record (including but not limited to our recommended shippers).

DuMouchelles is not liable for any loss or damage to the property once it has been released to the approved party. Buyer also agrees to DuMouchelles Conditions of Sale.
