Buyers assume full responsibility for the packing and shipping of lots won at auction. DuMouchelles can help recommend shippers, however, your selection of a shipper, insurance and the cost of shipping is your responsibility. You may select the shipper of your choice. In the interest of our clients, DuMouchelles requires a written authorization from the Buyer in order to release property to anyone other than the purchaser of record (including but not limited to our recommended shippers).

Insurance Responsibility: Insurance for the above lot(s) is solely the Buyer's responsibility. DuMouchelles does not provide insurance coverage for the lot(s). Buyer represents and warrants that they have obtained adequate insurance coverage for the full estimated value of the lot(s), which coverage shall remain in effect until Buyer has received and completed inspection of the item(s). If Buyer elects not to insure the shipment, Buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage.

I (Buyer) authorize DuMouchelle Art Galleries to release the following property to the approved agent listed above. DuMouchelles is not liable for any loss or damage to the property. Buyer also agrees to DuMouchelles Conditions of Sale https://www.dumoart.com/conditions-of-sale/ including but not limited to that all sales are final and all property is sold “as is”.
